smarAmi – reminiscence – Here Acharyaru is remembering the kindness in Ramachandra’s eyes when he had avatara as Hanumantha.
Sa+AnurAga+AvalOkanaM – Eyes filled with love and kindness.
Bhava+saMtApa-hAnid+Amruta+sAgaraM = Samasra is full of dukha.
HAnida = destroy
Ra+ama = “Ramana” means ananda. “Aama” means infinite. Ramayati iti ramaha. It also means Krishna which means Black.
Physical aura is important than skin color. Physical aura changes with mood of heart.
- Anger – red (Parushurama – angara varna)
- Happiness- yellow
- Peace – green
- Deep thinking with spiritual depth – Blue – spiritual bliss
- In general common man has brown – empty from inside.
Instance of sAnurAgAvalOkanaM towards Bheemasena in MahaBharata is depicted during the time when Krishna offers to go for shanti sandhana. Bheema also agrees to it since if war happens whole bharatavarsha would be destroyed. Krishna looks at him and says his worth is more than what he is aware about himself. Krishna also says victory of Pandavas in the war is fully dependant on Bheemasena.
I think of the gracious and love-filled look of Sri Rama, who is Himself full of bliss. His kind look is like the ocean of nectar which can remove all the sorrows and miseries caused by Samsara.
