  • Chakra represents dharma vrddhi, adharma nasha. Abhimani devathe of chakra is Durga, who is kalamanini/tamomanini and Pradymuna. The disc stands for the terrible weapon which destroys the evil and protects the righteous. It symbolizes the light bearing sun which illuminates and removes darkness. It also stands for higher consciousness (sat-buddhi) which destroys all illusions, and to follow Dharma.
  • Shankha represents Artha, Lakshmi sanidhana, Sampathkara. Vibrations of Shankha removes negative energy. Abhimani devathe of shanka is Aniruddha. The conch stands for the five elements, the sound of AUM, Shaligrama, Goddess Lakshmi, the waters, purity and perfection, and finally for jnana prapthi (Knowledge).
  • Gadhe represents Indirya smayama, controls Desire. Abimani devathe of gadha is Vaayu. The mace represents the power of knowledge, and symbolizes to get control over desires.
  • Padma represents shanti, moksha, jnana vrddhi. Abimani devathe of Padma is Lakshmi. The lotus symbolizes beauty, harmony, creation, self-realization (moksha).

ಸದ್ಯೋ ಜನಾರ್ಧನ್ನ ಕೊಂಡು ಉಪೇಂದ್ರನ್ನ

Order of weapons used by Narayana is changed in bhagavad roopas according to the purusharthas required/desired by bhaktas  in the situation.

pInav+RuttA – arms that is muscular by nature and is rounded and has only the job of protecting the universe

Hari – hariti iti harihi – He who removes all flaws and protects us .

The four arms of the Lord wear the conch, discus, mace and the lotus and are round and full. Their main task is to protect the world always. Such arms should always be remembered.
