Dwadasha stothra 2 : Aapadashira sthothra Verse 7
saNtataM chiNtayEtkaNThaM bhAsvatkaustubhabhAsakaM |
vaikuNThasyAkhilavEdA udgIryaMtEnisham yataH || 7 ||
saNtataM – omnipresent/ always
chiNtayEt+EkaNThaM – meditate
bhAsvat+kaustubha+bhAsakaM – mediate on the which enhances the beauty of kaustabha mani (chaturmukha) which is droned on it .
Bhagavatha says “chaitasya tattva mamalam manimasya kante ” that is Chaturmukha brahma; chitta abhimani; is kaustabha mani around the neck of Narayana and gains knowledge from Narayana
Kunta – one which will collapse
Vaikunta – complete/ which cannot collapse
vEdA udgIrya+ANtE+aharnisham – the neck which always recites Vedas – hayagreeva roopa
The neck of the Lord of Vaikunta (Naaraayana) is adorned with the brilliant Kausthubha Mani and is always reciting all the Vedas. Such a neck should always be contemplated.
