Yamini – night, yamininatha – ruler of nighttime – moon.
bhavatApApanOdIDyam- It removes the sorrows of the worldly bonds
During kurkshetra war, while describing vishwaroopa to Dhritarashtra, Sanjaya says even a thousand suns together in the sky cannot match the amount of light that is being radiated by Narayana in vishwa roopa.
It is a upmana (example) given to make us understand. Narayana is neither like Surya/Chandra.
SuryaPrakasha is clear/tejas/prakarathe. ChandraPrakasha is calm/kanthi/sowmya.
Kanthi – desirable
While mediating we should meditate on ChandraPrakasha. The lotus like face of the Lord of ShriNarayrana is effulgent with such brilliance that it cannot be equaled even by thousands of full moons. It removes the sorrows of the worldly bonds and is very suitable for praise. Such a face should be meditated upon.
