jagat+IDya+tamaM – The whole universe sings praise of him
paramAtparataH – Greater than everything that exists
puruShOttamataH – The Supreme amongst the purusha-s (i.e., individual souls), superior to Ramadevi, Brahma and others
tadalaM bahu+lOka+vicintanayA – Don’t gossip about worldly matters
tadalaM – Stop it, Acharya says this with sadness looking on the plight of people around him
pravaNaM kuru mAnasam+IshapadE – lie your heart on the lotus feet of Narayana and make good use of span of life
There is no one else in the world of living and inert matter who is more appropriate for being prayed to. He is superior to the superior beings like Brahma, Rudra etc. He is also the greatest Purusha or entity ever. Therefore, stop your thinking about worldly affairs and immerse your mind in contemplation of His lotus feet.
