Another name for MahaBharatha is\u201d JAYA\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first shloka of MahaBharatha is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u0928\u093e\u0930\u093e\u092f\u0923\u0902 \u0928\u092e\u0938\u094d\u0915\u0943\u0924\u094d\u092f \u0928\u0930\u0902 \u091a\u0948\u0935 \u0928\u0930\u094b\u0924\u094d\u0924\u092e\u092e\u094d \u0964<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u0926\u0947\u0935\u0940\u0902 \u0938\u0930\u0938\u094d\u0935\u0924\u0940\u0902 \u0935\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0938\u0902 \u0924\u0924\u094b \u091c\u092f\u092e\u0941\u0926\u0940\u0930\u092f\u0947\u0924\u094d \u0964\u0964<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Jeeva&nbsp; is bound by 15 fences. Jeeva himself is the 16th fence and in samsara. These fences are put forth by prakriti, who herself is outside 16 fences. The process of breaking all these fences and attaining God (Mukti) is through philosophy. This is JAYA. The direction on which the Jeeva heads ie to samsara or to mukthi depends on its Karma. To attain this JAYA we have to bow to Narayana and Nara (shesha), the most exalted being (Brahma,Vaayu), and also to the goddess Saraswati, must the word Jaya be uttered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[ n\u0101r\u0101ya\u1e47am\u2014the Personality of Godhead; nama\u1e25-k\u1e5btya\u2014after offering respectful obeisances; naram ca eva\u2014and N\u0101r\u0101ya\u1e47a \u1e5a\u1e63i; nara-uttamam\u2014the supermost human being; dev\u012bm\u2014the goddess; sarasvat\u012bm\u2014the mistress of learning; vy\u0101sam\u2014Vy\u0101sadeva; tata\u1e25\u2014thereafter; jayam\u2014all that is meant for conquering; ud\u012brayet\u2014be announced ]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is 6 namaskaras. To gain knowledge Shesha Tatva is very important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pradhana purusharu<\/strong> \u2013Brahma, vaayu, shesha, garuda, rudra. They provide the tools to jeeva&nbsp; to do sadhane \u2013 they stay inside us and control activities.( Aitraye Upanishad&nbsp; says \u201cchatvara purushaha iti badhvaha\u201d)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li><strong>Sharira purusha \u2013 rudra<\/strong>&nbsp; &#8211; dorns <strong>annamaya kosha<\/strong> (mud, water)and protects it. Rudra \u2013 one who gives sadness, one who frees body from diseases.&nbsp; Shankara \u2013 one who gives happiness<\/li><li><strong>Chandas purusha \u2013 shesha&nbsp; <\/strong>&#8211; controls ability give words to feelings &#8211; inside annamaya kosha is <strong>pranamaya kosha <\/strong>( fire, wind, akasha) \u2013 gives ability to think, speak, do manana. Without Pranamaya kosha one can gain wisdom.<\/li><li><strong>Veda purusha \u2013 Garuda <\/strong>&#8211; <strong>Manomaya kosha<\/strong>( manasu, buddhi, ahankara) \u2013 en vedan veda \u2013 one can understand, appreciate and do manana of Vedas and words \u2013 gives arivu, grasping capacity.<\/li><li><strong>Maha purusha \/ Samvatsara Purusha\/ Kala purusha \u2013 Brahma,Vaayu <\/strong>&#8211; Controls <strong>vignanamaya kosha- <\/strong>chitta and jeeva abhimani \u2013 ability to think creatively, memory shell<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brahma<\/strong> is called<strong> Maha purusha<\/strong> since without <strong>jeeva <\/strong>Inside a body all other tools are of no use to do sadhane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p><strong>Brahma is also known as Samvatsara Purusha &#8211;                                                                                                  1.As all jeevas are his children and he does good to people who are sam-good.&nbsp;                                             2.One who stays in the body and makes one remember good things and gives sukha to&nbsp;&nbsp;sadhaka jeeva.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>shrIramaNikarakamala pUjita                                                                                                           chArucharaNa sarOja brahma sa                                                                                                                      mIra vANi phaNIMdra vIMdra bhavEMdra mukha vinuta                                                nIrajabhavAMDOdaya sthiti                                                                                                                                       kAraNane kaivalya dAyaka                                                                                                                       nArasiMhane namipe karuNipudhemage maMgaLava <\/strong>||1||<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>shrI<\/strong> = radiant, affluent RamAdevi with the affectionate pride of possessing the confidence of the Lord<\/li><li><strong>ramaNi <\/strong>= wife of Lord nArAyaNa<\/li><li><strong>karakamala<\/strong> = lotus like soft hands<\/li><li><strong>pUjita<\/strong> = one who is worship able<\/li><li><strong>chAru<\/strong> = charming or delightful<\/li><li><strong>charaNa sarOja<\/strong> = worshiped by the lotus like soft hands of RamAdevi<\/li><li><strong>brahma<\/strong> = chaturamukha Brahma<\/li><li><strong>samIra <\/strong>= vAyu devaru<\/li><li><strong>vANi<\/strong> = saraswati devi (and bhArati devi too)<\/li><li><strong>phaNIMdra<\/strong> = seSha devaru, chief of snakes<\/li><li><strong>vIMdra<\/strong> = garuDa devaru, chief of birds<\/li><li><strong>bhav<\/strong> = Rudra devaru<\/li><li><strong>iMdra<\/strong> = iMdra devaru<\/li><li><strong>mukha <\/strong>= by the assemblage of all above devarus<\/li><li><strong>vinuta <\/strong>= sung in praise<\/li><li><strong>nIraja <\/strong>= Lotus flower bloomed in water<\/li><li><strong>bhavAnD<\/strong> = creation of this world \u2013 Lord Brahma<\/li><li><strong>udaya<\/strong> = for the creation of this world too<\/li><li><strong>sthiti<\/strong> = and to protect the same<\/li><li><strong>kAraNane<\/strong> = responsible for the creation and protection of this world<\/li><li><strong>kaivalya dAyaka<\/strong> = one who gives mukti-salvation or liberation<\/li><li><strong>nArasiMhane<\/strong> = oh Lord narasiMha<\/li><li><strong>namipe<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;= I bow to you<\/li><li><strong>karuNipudu <\/strong>= please bless me (in this context)<\/li><li><strong>emage<\/strong> = to us who have trusted your lotus feet<\/li><li><strong>maMgaLava<\/strong> = bliss or happiness<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord Shri LaxmI Narasimha is the family deity of JagannAtha dasa.RamAdevi, the satvaguNAbhimAni devi is always in the service of the Lord with her lotus like soft hands. The Lord\u2019s charming feet are reverentially adorned by Brahma, Saraswati, VAyu, BhArati, GaruDa,sheSha, iMdra; who\u2019s the cause of world\u2019s creation, stability, &amp; destruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JagannAtha dAsa pays obeisance to Lord NarasiMha with a sAShTAMga namaskAra. We all know:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>urasA shirasA dRishhTyA manasA vachasa tathA | padbhyaM karAbhyaM jAnubhyAM praNAmo.ashhhTANga IritaH ||  (kRishhNAmRita-mahArNava)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With chest (heart), head, eyes (sight), mind, oral stotra recitation, and knees on the floor, hands folded, and with knowledge, I bow to you Lord NarasiMha. This is what JagannAtha dasa means. He appeals to the kind Lord to grant bliss to those who have trusted His Lotus Feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;shrIramaNikarakamala pUjita chArucharaNa sarOja \u2013 <\/strong>Only<strong> lakshmi has constant aviyoga (association) and swaroopa darshana of bhagavantha. <\/strong>Not even brahma Vaayu have this blessing. Lakshmi is nitya avyukta tattva. Lakshmi offers tulasi and flowers constantly to Narayana.                                                    <strong>Shri <\/strong>\u2013 Sham roope ramate iti shrihi                                                                                                                          <strong>Sham<\/strong> \u2013 Ananda, <strong>srihi<\/strong> \u2013 immersed in lord<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Bhagavatha there is a Katha, there are different stages of sadhane \u2013 janana, tapasu, yoga, padayoga, mahajnana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JnaniGalu <\/strong>&#8211;<strong> People who can see Lord\/ have shakshtkara of lord ie see bimba roopa of Narayana for 1 muhurta = 48 minutes continuously. DevetaGalu can do this.<\/strong> This is not a form that is visible during meditation. During meditation form that is visible is conceived by our manasu based on the idols that we would have concentrated on. Aporoksha JaniGalu also can\u2019t see Lord for 48 minutes continuously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MahaJnaniGalu<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>People who can have bimba roopa darshana for more than 48 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TapasviGalu<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>People who can see bimba roopa of Narayana for the time equilvalent to uttering 6 syllables. Shan maatra kala.<\/strong> Eg: saying ya ra la va ksha sha .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>YogiGalu <\/strong>&#8211; <strong>People who can see bimba roopa of Narayana for the time equilvalent to uttering 1 syllable.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PadaYogiGalu<\/strong> &#8211; People who can see bimba roopa of Narayana for the time equilvalent to uttering \u00bc fraction of 1 syllable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>While doing meditation we should think about the beautiful lotus like feet of the God, his toes beautiful pink nail, from which a radiance of light is being emitted, and that light is getting rid of all the darkness in my heart. <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Katha \u2013 vaykya prabandhe) (Isn\u2019t equivalent to story in English, it means the thing that definitely has to be said, it is shastriya prameya).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kamala<\/strong> \u2013 Kam alankorathi , Very beautiful, gives shobhe to water in which it is present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saroja<\/strong> \u2013 one that is present in water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>brahma samIra vANi phaNIMdra vIMdra bhavEMdra mukha vinuta \u2013 <\/strong>Brahma, sameera, sarsawathi, bharathi , Shesha , Garuda, bhava \u2013 rudra, indira can only remember constantly but not touch Narayana physically like Lakshmi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>nuta<\/strong> \u2013 bowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Namaskara <\/strong>\u2013 2 types-  Bowing down physically, doing stotra mentally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vinuta<\/strong> \u2013 bowing down with knowledge, devotion and detachments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brahma Vaayu do vinuta as \u2013 \u201c<strong>nIrajabhavAMDOdaya sthiti kAraNane kaivalya dAyaka\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Born in lotus \u2013 Brahma, Neerajabhavnda \u2013 Brahmanda, uthagya \u2013 ud gamana \u2013 to go \u2013 paralaya. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Narayana is the cause for 8 process\/kriya \u2013 <strong>creation (avirbhava), sustenance( stithi), destruction, regulation, bondage, moksha, jnana-ajanana, avruti (edition) \u2013 for chetana and achetana prapancha.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kaivalya \u2013 <\/strong>moksha, state of pure bliss and knowledge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Narasimha \u2013 <\/strong>one who kills ajnana (ignorance) in us<strong> \u2013 mokshaprada roopa                                                Nara \u2013<\/strong> ignorance<strong>, simha &#8211; <\/strong>kills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>karuNipudhemage maMgaLava \u2013                                                                                                                   Mangala \u2013 manga+La &#8211; <\/strong>Mangam Lathi iti mangalam                                                                                   <strong>manga = <\/strong>magi dhatu \u2013 one which climbs up \u2013 elevation                                                                                             <strong>La \u2013 <\/strong>the one which gives                                                                                                                                                 <strong>Magi gatho \u2013 <\/strong>The one who gives paramount knowledge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meaning of Mangalacharne done by poojya Gurugalu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>jayati parAsharasUnuH satyavatIhRudayanaMdanO vyAsaH | yasyAsyakamalagalitaM vA~nmayamamRutaM jagatpibati<\/strong> ||<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Victory to Vyasa, son of Parashara, delighter of the heart of Satyavati, from the flower-cup of whose lotus face the world drinks the nectar of words. Jyati also means supreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parashara<\/strong> \u2013 There are 4 stages between how a word is spoken and heard by ears<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Word originates from Nabhi (Navel) \u2013<strong> Para<\/strong> \u2013 vibration caused&nbsp; inside by wind due to formation of word (thinking about the word) but not heard by ears \u2013 subtle sound<\/li><li>Word reaches heart \u2013 <strong>Pashyant<\/strong>i \u2013 Vibration that can be heard by learned Men<\/li><li>Word touches throat \u2013 <strong>Madhyama \u2013 <\/strong>Macro form of the word<\/li><li>It is finally uttered as a word \u2013 <strong>Vykhari<\/strong> \u2013 word that can be heard by ear<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parashara \u2013 Word travels from navel to mouth along with wind in an upward direction like an arrow. Hence it is Parashara.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>parAsharasUnuH \u2013 <\/strong>Narayana can be known even by the most subtlest sound, hence he is <strong>parAsharasUnuH<\/strong>. Also VedaVyasa is born through Parashara and satyavati (a leele for devotees).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Omkara \u2013 aa kara, uu kara, ma kara \u2013 Naada, bindu,Ghosh, shanta, atishanta Naada \u2013 tells about Narayana<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Naada is supreme \u2013 Atishanta \u2013 Narayana is known by this too<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Omkara prathipadya 8 roopas \u2013 vishwa, Tijasa,Pragyna,turiya, atma, antaratma, paramatma,jnanatma \u2013 also symbolizes Narayana ashtakara mantra \u201cOm namo Narayanaya\u201d.
